This is a beautiful exclusive Vintage Kokeshi by Yoshida Takashi. She is beautifully sculptured from a chunky piece of Zelkova wood. The refined engraved kimono and hands immediately stand out. She is still in very good condition and comes with her original box.
Yoshida's most commonly known work is colorful and rich in decoration. His more rare pieces are like these, where the natural wood is the highlight of the doll. These pieces are highly searched for and this kokeshi is therefore an excellent opportunity to add to your collection.
