This Vintage Sosaku Kokeshi by Toa Sekiguchi is spectacular! The design is chuncky and the kimono is just amazing. Her kimono is decorated with maple leaves and warm colors. Engraving techniques are also used to give the kimono some depth. Maple leaves symbolize fall in Japanese culture. They even have a term 'momiji' which specifically applies to the deep red maple leaves during this season. She is still in very good condition.
