This is a lovely set of Vintage Sosaku Kokeshi by Aida Seiho. You could see them as a mother and her child.
Aida Seiho was born in 1926 and started creating Kokeshi in 1947. He is considered one of the most influencial pioneers of the Sosaku Movement in the 60s. His work has won multiple awards including the Minister of education Award in 1974.
