This Vintage Eijko Kokeshi is nicely decorated with red lines. She is from the Tougatta Strain and is signed on the foot. The abstract pattern for the body of this kokeshi is referred to as ‘Mokumegane’. These stripes were made to take on the appearance of the same natural wood grain.
