This is a spectacular Vintage kokeshi that was handmade by the renown artist Chiyomatsu Kano. She has a lovely kimono and the typical facial expression. She is titled 'Flower Language' which refers to flowers being given at specific occasions in Japanse culture. Different flowers are associated with different messages. These kokeshi are rare finds and this kokeshi even comes with her original box!
