This is a spectacular Vintage Kokeshi by Kazumi Fujikawa. She has an interesting shape and interesting hairlines. The doll has some great engavings including the flower design. The natural wood grain is wonderfully showcased. What an eye-catcher!
Kazumi Fujikawa was born in Gunma prefecture in 1951. He received many kokeshi prices including the prestigious Prime Minister's Award in 2019.
