This kokeshi is a masterpiece, most likely from his early work. He uses a similr technique to decorate this kokeshi as he uses to create his famous mushin dolls. Chrysanthemums are used for decoration which are Japan's imperial symbol. What a precious art object. A real gem for every serious collector or art lover.
