This is an exclusive Vintage Sosaku Kokeshi by the famous Hideo Ishihara. His dolls often have a minimalist design and are rare finds. This is a very abstract version. The wood grain in this doll is spectacular and combines very well with the chains around her 'ears' This really is a rare find. People who collect the work by Hideo do not easily let go of their collected dolls, certainly not when it is a special work like this kokeshi.
