This is a lovely Kokeshi by Izumi Oki. The kokeshi is decorated with Chrysanthemum, hence her title. She also comes with her original box.
Izumi Oki is the daughter of Sansaku Sekiguchi. She was born in 1956 in the city of Shibukawa in Gunma prefecture. Later, She studied Arts at the Tama Art University in Tokyo. Her kokeshi have received awards and are collected around the world.
