This is an Exclusive Vintage Kokeshi made from beautiful Yakusugi wood. Yakusugi wood is a special type of cedar found on Yaku Island in Japan. The hat can be removed from the head. You can position the hat as you like. She has a high gloss finish. The stamp on the bottom of the doll is not a signature. It says Yakusugi referring to the type of wood used to make the doll. These kokeshi are rare finds.
