This is a very special Vintage Sosaku Kokeshi by the famous Hideo Ishihara. This kokeshi is richly decorated with red dragonflies and flowers. The dragonflies seem to hover above the water. Hideo's work has received increased attention by collectors globally. His large pieces are often very hard to find.
