This Vintage Sosaku Kokeshi by Aida Seiho has a beautiful design with flowers painted on her kimono. Thread is used to create the green line pattern. Aida Seiho was born in 1926 and started creating Kokeshi in 1947. He is considered one of the most influential pioneers in the Sosaku Movement in the 60s. His work has won multiple awards including the Minister of Education Award in 1974.
