This is a rare couple of Vintage Sosaku Kokeshi by Sanpei Yamanaka. Love their designs and different color schemes.
Yamanaka-San was born in Yamagata and made creative kokeshi throughout his entire career. His kokeshi are really sought by collectors all over the world. He won the prestigious 'Prime Minister Award' in 1979.
