This Vintage Sosaku Kokeshi is a representation of Kannon. She is the goddess of Mercy and Compassion. She is a Bodhisattva and her face is the most womanly of all Buddhist figures. The bottom of the doll can be unscrewed to reveal a prayer in a spare compartment. This kokeshi also comes with her original box.
