This is a lovely kokeshi by Kato Tatsuo. She is decorated with flowers and comes out a bamboo. She is still in good condition.
Kato Tatsuo started making kokeshi in the 1960s and studied under master Sansaku Sekiguchi. He is very popular and a major award winning artisan.
