This is a lovely kokeshi by Kato Tatsuo. She is decorated with lovely flowers and really feels like early spring. She is made from high quality wood and is still in very good condition. She comes with her original box.
Kato Tatsuo started making kokeshi in the 1960s and studied under master Sansaku Sekiguchi. He is very popular and a major award winning artisan.
